Algarve Chamber Music Festival

The Algarve Chamber Music Festival will be an annual event offering a varied and exciting lineup of world-class musical events.
The first concert of the first series will take place on January 9, 2026 at the Cine-Teatro Louletano.

Qian has been the artistic director of the Surrey Hills International Festival in the UK for 15 years and is very committed to creating a similar festival here in the Algarve.

As a non-profit undertaking, any profits from ticket sales and donations will go to the Loulé Conservatory of Music, among other local music-teaching institutions. The musicians participating in the festival will also offer masterclasses and other training opportunities to music students.

We very much want the concerts and other associated programs to be available to everyone, and to be a joint endeavor between those born in the Algarve and all those who love everything the region has to offer.
